Life of a Thompson Alexander Intern Part 1: Meeting the Interns -
An inside view into the different roles Chumani, Natasha and Holly have undertaken, and tasks they have accomplished within their first few weeks.

Chumani: I’m focusing on Project Management, so it’s been really interesting to look at some of the main approaches for taking our project forward, and how we can incorporate a great deal of flexibility into this.

Putting forward some proposals of charities for the company to support has been a great opportunity for us to understand just how closely our values aligns with those of TA.

Natasha: Since joining Thompson Alexander I’ve been involved in various exercises and skill building tasks. Recently we focused on calling prospective candidates for Testing roles that we have. This helped me learn the technical side of the business whilst also giving me a greater understanding of the Testing and recruitment sector in general.

As a team we also created a blog post about the gender differences in job applications.

Holly: So far, I’ve been getting to know the company and working on lots of research tasks. Ranging from calling up prospective clients, researching charities we might want to invest in or help support, and most recently working on the ‘Job Hunting Like a Girl’ blog post.
